When you think of "teen sex comedy films" you picture
yourself grabbing your stomach because you've been laughing
so hard at teens trying so hard to reach their goal: sex, A.S.A.P.
Porky's in 1982, directed by Bob Clark, was a smashing hit that
started an entirely new subgenre.
There is always a group of about four to six guys. Their goal
in the movie is to get sex, usually by the end of high school.
There is usually a "dorky" guy; he sometimes ends
up being the first to "get laid." There are always
a few "jocks." They're the good looking and cocky
ones, sex should just come to them, but it hasn't. The "jocks"
that have had sex try to help out their friends.
There might be a "fat" one. The guys try to reach
their goal at a party, on a road trip or a vacation. Before
they all "get laid" they come across many comical
situations including overprotective parents, police, sex problems
and of course barely-clothed girls. If your idea of fun is watching
high school teens make fools of themselves, seeing lots of "tits
and ass" and laughing so hard you might have an "accident"
then you've picked the perfect movie subgenre!
