Setting up an appointment
Theoretically, setting up an appointment over email can be challenging or even impossible (see Rubinstein, 1989, “The Electronic Mail Game: Strategic Behavior Under Almost Common Knowledge”).
To help overcome the challenge, please follow these simple guidelines. These will be obvious to many of you, but just in case they aren’t:
1. If you’d like to make an appointment, send me an email saying so.
2. I will respond with a few possible times when I can meet you.
3. If none of those times work for you, email me to let me know. Otherwise, choose one of the times I gave and email me to let me know.
