Riad Efendiev: the Highlander

My name is
Riad Efendiev,
the Highlander.

I was born in the highlands
of Caucasus in 1970,
and I am still alive.

All those years I have been
a scholar,
a philosopher,
a lover,
constanly facing others on my way to you.

I am mortal; but so are you...

OK, here is an unfinished story of my life...

Caucasus and vicinity, where real Caucasians live, my country.
Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, where
my parents live and I lived 1970-1986.

Moscow and vicinity, where I met my friends, while studying 1986-1996 in
PhysTech (Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology) and working in
IBCh (Shemyakin & Ovchinnikov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry).

United States of America, where I moved January 1997 to work at the
University of Houston.
