UH-NBA Player of the Month This month's Player of the Month is Walter.  Although this award is being bestowed belatedly, it is well deserved.  Walter won this award based on some outstanding play during the Holiday tournaments.  Please allow me to recite a representative sample of Walter's play during the month.  In ONE game he collected 3 rebounds, scored 3 baskets (including the game winner).  These feats only scratch the surface of Walter's web of domination.  He also stole the ball 3 times and had 2 blocks on an unnamed, but nonetheless thoroughly humilated "point" guard.  It was awesome.  Congratulations, Walter!
  The following is from a Gary, Indiana neighborhood newspaper.  Heed the implicit warning!!   Court Roundup (no pun intended) Karl Moody, 27 of Gary was sentenced to 30 years for murdering Dewrell Hobson II, 22 of Gary Jan. 28,1988.  He shot the victim during a basketball game for (now read this carefully) FAILING TO PASS THE BALL TO HIM ENOUGH!
