The objective of this project is to develop III –Nitride based
electron emitters for microsensors operating under both vacuum
and near atmospheric pressure for an extended range of
temperatures. The ongoing research aims to fabricate chemically
and thermally stable cold cathode layers that can be integrated
in microdevices such as:
Accelerometers
Thermionic -based cooling devices
Magnetic sensors
