The Conference:

Program: Here is the program containing hyperlinks to papers.   Thank you to all who submitted papers!  We received numerous high quality papers, and the program committee had the tough task of selecting just seven papers for presentation at the conference.  

Location: Elizabeth D. Rockwell Pavilion, which is on the second floor of the M.D. Anderson Library on the campus of the University of Houston. See map below (under "Hotel and Parking Information") for its location relative to hotel and parking.

Organizers: The host institution is University of Houston Department of Economics.  Co-organizing institutions are University of Texas at Austin Department of Economics, Texas A&M University Department of Economics, Southern Methodist University Department of Economics and the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.  This conference is for faculty at these organizing institutions and graduate students nominated by faculty for poster presentations.  For more information, contact your department organizer or Aimee Chin (achin@uh.edu).

Visitors w/ hotel accommodations should park at the hotel parking garage (see details below).  Other visitors should park at the Welcome Center Parking Garage (see last section for details).

For visitors w/ hotel accommodations

If you requested hotel accommodation for Friday night, we will make reservations for you at the Hilton University of Houston Hotel.  This is located on campus, and is just a few minutes' walk from the conference building.  You may check into the hotel either before the conference begins (but note your room may not yet be ready, as the normal check-in time is 3pm), or after 5pm when the last paper presentation ends.

For other visitors

The closest visitor parking lot to the conference building is the Welcome Center Parking Garage.  The directions are: (1) Take I-45 South to exit # 44b, Spur 5. (2) Follow Spur 5 to UH University Dr. (3) The visitor entrance to the Welcome Center Parking Garage will be on your right, before you reach Wheeler.  We will have parking validation tickets for you if you make this request in advance.
