Welcome Back

Whether you are a new Coog or have been at the University for a few years, the University of Houston wants to give you a warm welcome. During the Weeks of Welcome, numerous departments and staff will work to connect students with university resources, student organizations and the surrounding community. The Weeks of Welcome starts Thursday, August 15th and ends Sunday, September 1st, 2019. With activities ranging from a big student organization fair in Cat’s Back, to a chance to try tasty new foods at Cultural Taste of Houston, to Cage Rage at TDECU stadium, there is something for everyone! #UHWOW19.

Rush Week provides students with an opportunity to interact with Bauer Student Organizations in order to determine which one is right for them! Making new friends, networking with potential employers, developing your soft skills and giving back to the Houston community are just a few of the reasons why students should join a Bauer student organization. Undergraduate organizations will be in the Melcher Hall Back Drum from 9am-4pm. Graduate organizations will be in the AIM Ticker from 4pm-6pm.
