Tips for not making your holiday high, your fitness low

  • Remember, typical holiday drinks have equal amounts, if not more sugar, fat and calories than a meal. Egg Nog - (340 cal, 19g of fat, 21g of sugar)
  • To prevent overeating, don't linger at the food table. When finished eating leave the kitchen/dining room area.
  • Continue to eat structured meals.
  • Avoid choosing foods that are high in calories and fat on days between Thanksgiving and New Years.
  • Stick to your exercise routine.
