Fresh Check Day is a national event from The Jordan Porco Foundation (JPF) that seeks to bring awareness of various types of mental health issues and coping strategies, along with collegiate mental health resources in an approachable and interactive experience.
Fresh Check Day 2017 was held on Thursday, September 14th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Student Centers Plaza. Partners included Counseling & Psychological Services, UH Health Center, Campus Recreation, Cougars in Recovery, Center for Students with Disabilities, Dean of Students, Women and Gender Resource Center, LGBTQ Resource Center, Veteran's Services, SMART Cougars, Student Government Association, Cougar Peer Educators, Cougar Mental Health Advocates, the American Medical Student Association, College of Pharmacy APhA-ASP and Generation Rx, and the Student National Pharmaceutical Association.
