Attorney Rex; Huntley and three of the Purnells: for that Mr Attorney lodged and had private conference with one Brigge and Gilbert who had robbed the Purnells of £300 after the robbery and dealt with others to spare to be examined touching the same and there concealed his knowledge thereof, and the Purnells having received part of their money said they did not but suspect them albeit they knew them to be the men that robbed them. Fleet, £500 fine, and to make public acknowledgement of their offences at the assizes. Michaelmas 38 Elizabeth (kk)
