Notes, Additions and Corrections
- Case Book BL Harley MS 2143 fo. 50v. Misdemeanor in exhibiting a bill in another man’s name without his privity and for false oath in affidavit. Attorney Rex, plaintiff; Anthony Bate, defendant: the court ordered Mr Attorney to exhibit an information against this defendant, for that he exhibited a bill in this court in the name of William Gote against one Jenkinson and others for perjury, without his privity, and for making affidavit of a foul contempt committed upon the serving of the process of this court where there was never any process at all served or sued out as appeared by the clerk of the process certificate, which was false, and the defendant to answer before enlargement.
