Interrogatories to be ministered to John Crapnell alias Crabnell deft to the bill of Frauncis Warner and others Compltes.

1 Imprimis whether did you with anie others steale a certen graye mare in Kesington within the Countie of Middlesex from one Thomas Manynge gentleman.

2 Item whether did not you or any other by your appoyntment sell annie mare of the said Thomas Mannynges to any person or persons yf yea then to what person or persons was the same mare sold, and for what some or Consideraccion.

3 Item whether did not you with annie others steale out of a certaine pasture in Cenyngton with in the Countie of Suffolk a geldinge and a mare /\ or anie of them /\ of one lawrence keriche, if yea then for what some or Consideracion were the said geldinge and mare or any of them sold, and by what person or persons were they or any of them sold.

4 Item whether was there any Composicion or agreament betwene you and one Anthonie Caverley and Freintley or any of them or annie other person or persons that you should steale horses in Suffolk to be sent to be uttered in any other Countie, or Counties and that they of anie of them should steale horses in any other Countie, and Convey them to you to be uttered within the said Countie of Suffolk or els where.

5 Item whether have you with any other or others stollen any horse or horses mare or mares in any other Countie or Counties then the said Counties of Suffolk and Middlesex.

6 Item whether did you not at any tyme utter or speake theis wordes or like wordes in effect viz that it was never mery world since priestes had wyves, and that you hoped to see them turned awaye, and then you would become a massinge priest.

7 Item whether you have not at any tyme said that all hir Majesties Highe Comissions were knave priestes.

8 Item whether /\ you /\ did not you perswade or intyse one John Pope and Arthur Gerves or any of them to robb one Nicholas Lingewood and Nicholas Godbold mencioned in thaforesaid bill in any other manner then is suggested in your Answere.

9 Item whether have you not in hir Majesties Benche exhibited anie Informaccions in the name of any person or persons without the consent or knowledge of the same person or persons in whose name the same Informaccion was exhibited yf yea then what be the names of such person or persons.

10 Item whether have you not at any time procured out of the said Court anie wrytt or wryttes of subpena against any person or persons without thassent or agreament of the person or persons in whose name the said wrytt or wryttes were procured out, yf yea then what be the names of every such person against whom the same were procured, and of such person & persons in whose name the same wrytt or wryttes were sued out.

11 Item whether have you not at any time arrested any person or persons to appeere in the Kinges Benche to any Informaccion or informacions, and afterwardes before apparaunce have compounded with such person or persons, Yf yea then what is the name of every suche person or persons.

12 Item whether have you not at any tyme or tymes without lycence of thaforesaid Court compounded & agreed with any person or persons which have appeered in the said Court to any Informacion exhibited then by you or your meanes, yf yea then what the name is of every such person or persons.

13 Item whether have you not at any tyme sued out of the same Court wrytt or wryttes of subpena against any person or persons to appeer to any Informaccion or informacions when in such informacion or informacions have beene fyled or remayninge of Record in the said Court
