Misdemeanor in the mayor and aldermen of Lynn for neglect of aiding the vice admiral to seize a ship. Henry Woodhouse, vice admiral of Norfolk and Suffolk, plaintiff; and Christopher Grante, mayor of Lynn and others the aldermen there, defendants: convicted for their neglecting of aiding the plaintiff having letters directed to himself and all [Her. (kk) Majesty’s justices and officers to seize and take into his hands two ships being in the haven of Lynn, until the title to the said ships should be decided, and for their stubborn answer to the plaintiff that they would nether aid him nor resist him and other speeches, £100 fine and Fleet.
