  • TNA SP 12/44, 59. 1567. Petition of Wm. Peterson and others, merchants, trading to the eastern ports, to the Queen, complaining of injuries done to them by the King of Denmark and his subjects.

Refusal of Mr. Hammond, Mr. Bille, and Mr. Swale to read their lectures. Disorder in keeping the University chests, and of the fund for loan of money to poor scholars.
  • TNA SP 12/44, 72. 1567. Letters Patents of incorporation, granted at the suit of the Earl of Leicester, to the Earls of Huntingdon and Warwick, Sir Ambrose Cave, Sir Nich. Throkmorton, Sir Thos. Lucye, Sir Ric. Knightley, and Clement Throgmorton, Esq. Constituting them Governors of the possessions and revenues of the Preachers of the Gospel in the county of Warwick.
  • TNA SP 12/44, 73. 1567. Dr. Eliseus Bomelius to Sir Wm. Cecil. Complains of his treatment by the College of Physicians. Has always treated Dr. Francis, the President, with respect. Refers the matter to Sir Tho. Smith. Prays to be liberated from prison. Latin.
