• TNA SP 12/43, 22. 1567 July 1. Earl of Lennox to Sir Wm. Cecil. The Queen has restored him and his wife to favour, but has not made restitution to them of their estate. They are upwards of 3,000l. in debt. Solicits a loan of 1,000l. from the Queen.
• TNA SP 12/43, 23. 1567 July 7. Tho. Keys to Leicester and Cecil. Prays that they will bear in mind his long imprisonment, and intercede with the Queen for his pardon.
