  • TNA SP 12/40, 50. 1566 August 19. Jas. Lord Mountjoy to Cecil. Begs that the Queen will advance him 6,000l., and undertakes at the end of two years to deliver 150 tons of alum, and 150 tons of copperas, as good as the Danish sort.

  • TNA SP 12/40, 52. 1566 August 22. Winchester to Cecil. Sends a declaration of five accounts, shewing the Queen's profit on wollen cloths and wines for the years therein specified.
  • TNA SP 12/40, 53. 1566 August 26. Sir Francis Jobson and Armigill Waad to same. Have conferred with Cornelius on the subject of his letter. Requisitions made by Cornelius de Lannoy for carrying on his alchemical operations, for which a small sum of money will be required.
  • TNA SP 12/40, 54. 1566 August. Note of the number of days William Dyx has been in attendance on the Privy Council at Collyweston and Woodstock.
