• Tuesday, November 10, 2009 - Veterans Business Seminar
  8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  UH University Center, Houston Room (Second Floor)
  
  "Entrepreneurship and the 21^st Century Veteran"
  
  The purpose of the seminar is to disseminate valuable information to veterans about training for business development; starting, financing, or expanding a business; doing business with a government entity; and using military skills to become leaders and economic resources for creating employment opportunities in their communities.

• Wednesday, November 11, 2009 - Veterans Day Honors Ceremony
  11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  University Center Atrium (Underground Level Patio)
  
  The 83rd Congress of the United States approved legislation for November 11 to be the day our nation officially honors American veterans.  For more information about the history of Veterans Day, go to the following web site.
