Exclusive beverage vending service to UH is provided by the Houston Coca Cola Bottling Company. There are over 150 Coke product machines conveniently located in 53 buildings on the UH Campus and  the off campus sites at the University Business Park off I-45, the UH College of Pharmacy at the Texas Medical Center and at the Small Business Development Center in downtown Houston. Vended products include but are not limited to Coke, Sprite, Mr. Pibb, Fanta, Dasani, PowerAde and Minute Maid juice products.

Exclusive snack vending services to UH is provided by Canteen. Canteen vends snacks, fresh foods, frozen foods and hot beverages (coffee and hot chocolate) to the UH campus, the University Business Park off I-45, the College of Pharmacy at the Texas Medical Center and the Small Business Development Center in Downtown Houston. Snack vending includes nationally branded candies, gum, mints, pastries and chips in addition to other snack items.  Fresh Food machines provide items such as salads, fresh individually wrapped produce, sandwiches and regional favorites like burritos and tamales, etc. Hot beverage vending consists of General Foods International Coffee, Maxwell House, Ritazza and Sara Lee products for hot chocolate, etc. Canteen vending machines are located in 41 buildings at the UH campus and 3 off-site locations.

Exclusive ice cream vending services to the UH campus is provided by Lone Star Ice Cream of Houston, Texas. Lone Star vends nationally branded products from providers such as Nestle, Good Humor, Klondike and Dreyers in 19 buildings on the UH campus.

In select locations patrons can purchase vended items with the added convenience of available ATM’s (see the Cougar 1 Card website for the locations), Dollar Bill Changers (for $1.00 and $5.00 bills), or utilize Cougar 1 Cards to make debit purchases with flex account dollars (for more information see the Cougar 1 Card website). Most machines have Dollar Bill Acceptors available. Business Services is currently piloting a program where select snack and ice cream vending machines have E-Port devices that accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Cards for purchases.
