Group visits are a free campus visit opportunity offered Monday – Friday. During your visit, you’ll have an opportunity to visit with an Admission Counselor and tour UH’s beautiful campus.

  • Elementary and Middle School tours are offered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11 a.m.
  • High School and Transfer Group tours are offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m.; Tuesday and Thursday at noon.

We can only accommodate up to 100 students, with 1 chaperone for every 10 students.

College Visit Grant

The University of Houston is committed to increasing the college-going rate of students that find college attainment to be a major obstacle. The College Visit Grant program offers financial support to schools and community organizations to assist with their visit to the University of Houston.

The College Visit Grant Program is no longer accepting applications for Spring 2018. Fall 2018 applications will open soon.

Funding Specifics:

  • The University of Houston will provide up to $1,000 per group. Group visit grants are limited to high school students in grades 9-12 and are offered once per academic year.
  • The grant may be used to fund:
    • Transportation
    • Food
    • Substitute pay
    • OR, other costs associated with your HOUSTON campus visit
Groups interested in receiving the grant must register for a group visit, complete the visit grant section of the registration page, and submit supporting documents provided by the Office of Admissions. Contact Laura Galloway at lgallowa@Central.UH.EDU for details.
