UH Celebrates Constitution Day

This month, the University of Houston will host its annual celebration of Constitution Day. The focus of this year’s educational effort is on voting rights and responsibility.

The celebration kicks off at the Cougar Resource Fair, which takes place from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 23 at the University Center. The fair includes voter registration, a display table and distribution of U.S. flags and miniature Constitution booklets. Other exhibits and online lectures are posted at www.uh.edu/constitutionday.

Additionally, voter registration applications are available at the Campus Housing service desks, the Student Information and Assistant Center at the University Center, the Office of the Dean of Students, through the Student Government Association, and online at www.tax.co.harris.tx.us.
