SIERRA DELIVERS SERVICE WITH A SMILE

For 25 years, Edward Sierra, administrative coordinator in the department of research financial services, has delivered outstanding customer service to 55 staff members and six directors. His co-workers consider him a great source of direct, speedy answers, while sharing a big smile.

“Due to Edward’s good reputation and the friendships on campus, he is able to complete the average staff member’s daily tasks in half the time,” one colleague said in a letter of recommendation. “His friendliness and prompt response to others’ needs have been the hallmark of his contribution to UH.”

Award recipients receive a framed certificate and a $1,000 check.
