Outstanding Staff Recognized With Awards  

MARINO-RODRIQUEZ SCORES HIGH IN CUSTOMER SERVICE

Sandra Marino-Rodriquez’s positive attitude and hard work add up to a 2005 Staff Excellence Award.

In 1988, Rodriguez joined the staff of the University of Houston as a data control clerk in Counseling and Testing now called University Testing Services. Since then, she has received several promotions. In her current position as financial assistant 1 in the Department of Learning and Assessment Service, she handles all personnel and financial transactions for seven units. She initiates most of the purchases and communicates with vendors. Additionally, she tracks and monitors expenses of five fund sources.

“Sandra has great drive and passion for her work and assisting others. Sandra also is very dependable and reliable,” one staff member wrote in a letter of support.
