MAYOR WHITE ONE OF SEVERAL FALL COMMENCEMENT SPEAKERS
Houston Mayor Bill White is scheduled to speak at one of seven fall commencement ceremonies this month. White will address business undergraduate students at 2 p.m. Dec. 16 at Hofheinz Pavilion.
On Dec. 15, Nick Massad Jr., president and chief executive officer of American Liberty Hospitality, will speak at the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management's commencement ceremony, which starts at 10 a.m. at the hotel. Later that day, Kase Lawal, chairman and chief executive officer of CAMAC International Corp., will deliver remarks to engineering students at 1 p.m. in Hofheinz Pavilion.
Brian D. Montgomery, assistant secretary for housing and federal housing commissioner of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, will speak at the College of Technology's commencement at 4 p.m. Dec. 15 at Hofheinz Pavilion. Also on Dec. 15, Edgardo E. Colón, Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce chairman, will address business graduate students at 7 p.m. in the Cullen Performance Hall.
