OPTOMETRY COLLEGE LAUNCHES
DRIVE TO RECYCLE EYEGLASSES

The University of Houston College of Optometry will collect eyeglasses as part of America Recycles Day 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., beginning Nov. 15 and ending Dec. 15. Donation bins will be located in the college’s University Eye Institute.

The glasses will be donated to The Lion’s Club. The club will recycle the eyeglasses and distribute to needy individuals in Mexico, Nicaragua and other Latin American countries.
