GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT AWARD
LOUISE NEMANICH MANAGES CLASSROOM
EFFECTIVELY
Considered one of the most prolific doctoral researchers in the
management department, Louise Nemanich is the recipient of this
year’s graduate assistant award.
She is the first student to score the maximum in faculty evaluations.
One of her students said, “There is no doubt in my mind that
no other teacher has had such a vested interest in my life.”
In her teaching, Nemanich hopes to help students “recognize
theory in action so they can build on knowledge for years to come.”
Teaching excellence awards of $1,000 and a trophy are presented
to two graduate students. Nominees must have been teaching assistants
or fellows for at least two semesters.
