UH OFFERS DISCRIMINATION TRAINING
ONLINE
The University of Houston now
is offering online employment discrimination training, and employees
will be able to access the new training program soon.
Faculty and staff will receive an email from uhs_online@central.uh.edu
in a few weeks that will provide them with the Web site address,
where they can complete the required training. Texas law mandates
that all state employees undergo employment discrimination training
every two years.
To access training, faculty and staff must have
their employee identification number, which can be found on their
pay stub or by contacting the Department of Human Resources’
Customer Service section at 713-743-4418. After viewing either the
text-only presentation or the streaming video presentation, employees
will be required to successfully complete a ten-question quiz.
