Search for new Provost yields

Candidates have been named in the University of
Houston’s search for a new Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic
Affairs/Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost.
Five candidates will interview and participate in
open forums with UH faculty, staff and students.
The candidates follow:
- Luanna Meyer, Assistant Vice Chancellor Academic(Senior
Academic Officer, Massey University, New Zealand
- Cristina Gonzalez, Senior Advisor to the Chancellor,
Former Dean of Graduate Studies, University of California, Davis
- Richard Edwards, Distinguished Professor of
Social Work, Former Dean of Social Work and Former Interim Provost
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
- Charles Louis, Vice President for Research,
Georgia State University
- David Young, Dean, College of Liberal Arts and
Sciences, Arizona State University
