MICHELLE OBAMA PRESENTS BLAFFER
WITH PRESIDENTIAL AWARD
Blaffer Gallery’s Young Artist Apprenticeship Program, a six-week,
comprehensive art-making workshop for teenagers from neighboring Houston
Independent School District high schools, earned a national endorsement
by winning a Coming Up Taller Award from the President’s Committee
on the Arts and the Humanities.
