Updates have been posted in the Sponsors section, and pictures of our recent luncheon with representatives from Citgo will be posted shortly.
Welcome to UH SAE. In May of 2007, we are going to compete in the formula-style
racecar competition entitled Formula SAE (FSAE) that includes 140 entries
from international institutions that compete head-on. FSAE is a prestigious
engineering competition where students not only race, but design and fabricate
a racecar. Students are judged by professional engineers in three days of
events in Detroit, MI based on static (cost, design, safety, etc.) and dynamic
(0-60mph, autocross, fuel economy, etc.) trials.
UH Technology/Engineering students want to bring a Houston college back to
the FSAE competition. January 2006 marks the rebirth of the UH SAE organization
and the start of Cougar Racing. If you are a UH student or are interested
in supporting our team please contact us.
