Houston-
The University of Houston Staff Council is, again, sponsoring its annual Sock and Blanket Drive benefiting the Star of Hope and the Harris County Protective Services Guardianship Program. The drive will run through Nov. 30.

The Staff Council is collecting new socks and underwear and new and clean blankets, towels, sheets, coats, sweaters, warm clothing, children’s and baby’s clothing, professional attire, over-the-counter medications and other items at collection sites around the campus.

The Harris County Protective Services Guardianship Program requests new items, as they will be given as holiday presents. Star of Hope requests that the items be clean.
