Upcoming Events: Dance Marathon, February 19-20, 2010 Fundraising Goal for 2010 = $75,000 What's this all about? Dance On is one of 100+ Dance Marathon programs run by students at universities and colleges across the country. All proceeds from Dance On go directly to our local Children's Miracle Network children's hospital, Texas Children's Hospital. Dance On is present to create emotional and financial awareness for the families. Texas Children's Hospital is a part of the Houston Medical Center. With over TWO MILLION patient encounters per year, why wouldn't we want to help? All money raised go to the Charity Care Program. In the inaugural year, Dance On had a goal of $10,000. With the efforts of about 100 students, countless faculty and staff members, and the support of the Hospital and University, the goal was blown away and over $17,583 were raised. After Dance On 2009, the total amount of donations totalled to $23,520.60. As Dance On 2010 gets underway, WE NEED YOU! to help us reach our goals this year. |
