Temporary Closure of Norhtwest UC Ramp

As part of the UC Project Phase 1 there is scheduled work that needs to be completed on the University Center north exterior surface (capstone removal).  To ensure the safety of all UC occupants, patrons and guests it is necessary to temporarily close the northwest ramp to pedestrian traffic as follows:

Tuesday, March 5th: 7:00AM – 3:30PM
Wednesday, March 6th: 7:00AM – 3:30PM
*Second day work may conclude earlier if no delays occur.  The ramp will be opened as soon as possible.

For your awareness the ramp will be closed with red caution tape and the contractor will have a worker present during the scheduled hours to redirect pedestrians to the south entrances.

The northwest exterior exit door which provides access from the second floor will remain accessible at all times.

If any questions or concerns please contact the UC Administrative Services and Operations Office in UC 282 or by phone at 832-842-6260.
