Located in the Metroplex Region, AVATAR aligns core curriculum to the College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS) and Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) across secondary and postsecondary education. AVATAR is funded by a Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) grant to the North Texas Regions P-16 Council and administered by the University of North Texas.
