Tier One Scholars Present at Undergraduate Research Day 2013

October 10, 2013 – Tier One Scholars joined 130 undergraduates who presented their research at the annual UH Undergraduate Research Day. Tier One Scholars Stacy Nguy and Cara Riffe were among those who received Outstanding Poster Awards. Six of the eight Tier One Scholar presenters were also recipients of the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship. All Tier One Scholars receive a $1,000 Research Stipend for conducting research with a faculty mentor.
