I am a very outgoing and social person. I am at my best when I am allowed to work freely under my own terms and preferably in a leadership position. I am interested in making a difference. I firmly believe that I should strive to matter in whatever I choose to do. I am motivated by the failures of those before. I realize that getting into medical school is difficult, but the challenge is worth the payoff.
Campus and Community Involvement
I volunteer for the Red Cross, Equest Therapeutic Horsemanship, Baylor, Methodist, Habitat for Humanity, Greater Lewisville Cares, Nursing Home, Frisco Public Library, and am very involved in the Boy Scouting community. I play basketball, football, volleyball, and wrestle competitively. I was a crucial part of the Intramural Flag Football team that won during the Fall 2012 semester at UNT. I enjoy competitive extracurricular activities such as chess tournaments, 3 on 3 tournaments, and other activities that keep me motivated. I am a Junior Assistant Scout Master for Troop 416 and Vice President of Activities for the Sports Club at UNT.

I have taken Spanish, but do not plan to pursue any other foreign languages at UH. I would like to study abroad in places such as Spain, Argentina, or London.
Research in the field of neuroscience intrigues me. I think my research project will have to deal with Alzheimer’s and hopefully result in a breakthrough of sorts. I do plan on continuing research throughout my academic career.
I am planning to go on to medical school after my degree from UH and pursuing an MD. I may also strive for a PhD after a few years.
