About Me

I've lived in Texas my whole life. I am pretty easy going and shy, though I enjoy meeting new people. I love most types of music, and am a bit obsessed with animals, anything Harry Potter related, and Disney movies. I've found that I really enjoy helping people, which is why I hope to go into the nursing field. I prefer to spend most of my time with the people I care about.

Campus and Community Involvement

In high school I played clarinet in concert and marching band during my freshman and sophomore year. After that I joined FFA and raised a goat and a bunny, and was a member of the floral judging team at my school, and we went to state. Also, I was a member of the National Honor society. Currently I'm part of the honors college here at UH, but other than that I haven't gotten involved in any organizations here on campus, although I look forward to joining some.

Awards and Honors

In high school I graduated on the Distinguished Achievement plan and  received the Commended Scholar Award. I also was named an AP Scholar with Distinction my junior and senior year.

Study Abroad

I currently am not taking any foreign languages, though in high school I took three years of Spanish. I haven't had the opportunity to travel out of the country very much, but would love to study abroad somewhere in Europe.

Right now I do not know what type of research I wish do to, though I would love anything psychology or medical related.

Future Endeavors

Once I get my psychology degree and finish my nursing prerequisites, I plan on going to nursing school to complete my degree, and then getting a job in the nursing field, though I am not quite sure in what area.
