About Me

I'm an enthusiastic person, though somewhat reserved. I'm inspired by stories, and I want to inspire others through stories as well. Since the fifth grade, I've known that I want to create new worlds and allow others to immerse themselves in their imagination. Books lead to amazing worlds, and sometimes it is in these imaginary worlds that one can learn and discover new meanings and truths. These are the worlds that I want to create in my stories.

Campus and Community Involvement

I love singing, so I intend to join a choir in the Spring. In high school, I volunteered often, and I also maintained a part-time job at Zion Lutheran Church as a singer. I volunteered in many events around and outside of Houston as a singer, and I volunteered at HGO's High School Night.

Awards and Honors

AP Scholar with Honor (2012), AP Scholar with Distinction (2013), Texas Music Scholar (2011-2012, 2012-2013), Texas Scholar (2013), HSPVA Madrigal Singers 1st place in Texas Renaissance Festival's Madrigal Ensemble category (2011), Invited choir for masterclass with Chanticleer (2012), HSPVA Madrigal Singers 2nd place in Texas Early Music Festival (2012).

Study Abroad

I am willing to study wherever my interests take me. I am particularly interested in studying in Japan or Europe, as I'm fascinated by the culture. I hope to use my time abroad to inspire my own creative projects.

Future Endeavors

I plan to become a novelist. I also intend to become an editor, so that I may write on the side in my spare time.
