David (Hunter) Attard
My name is Hunter Attard, I’m one of four children and since my dad was in the military, I have lived all over the southern United States. I currently live on campus and love it. There is always something to do! I’m interested in Math, Science, but most of all creating things. I also love camping, hunting, fishing, hiking and anything outdoors.
Campus and Community InvolvementI have done a little volunteer work at the Houston Humane Society and plan to continue to do so while I still live in the area. I love to swim laps, asI was a swimmer in Highs School, and am a coach of the Fall Creek Flying Fish swim team andtaught swim lessons at a local gym.
Awards and Honors
In High School I received a few swimming awards and served as vice president of the student body for three years. I also graduated seventh in my class, and was voted MostLikely to Succeed.
I am currently attempting to teach myself (with the Internet’s help) German. Iwould like to study abroad in Germany because I was actually born in Germany while my father was stationed there, but unfortunately moved to the States before I could create any memories of it, so I would love to go back.
I would like to research something related to chemistry. Carbon nanotubes andsuperconductors are particularly interesting to me.
I plan to go into the workforce after I graduate and seeing what it takes tomove up the management ladder of whichever company I end up working for. I will more than likely end up going to school for an MBA.
