About Me

I am a young diligent student, working as hard as possible everyday to secure a bright future for myself. I enjoy spending time with my family as they are the ones I put second only to God in my life. Soccer matches and NFL Sunday are events I cannot miss every week. I love having the company of music wherever I am. I am motivated by the idea of having a comfortable professional life with a nice standard of living and by the idea of being able to be paid for doing what I love to do in my career.

Campus and Community Involvement

I am a proud member of the Spirit of Houston Band as well as the Cougar Brass Basketball band. Football games and basketball games are two things that I cannot miss ever and there is no better way to attend them than with the university’s band.

In high school, I qualified for the All-Region band four years, the All-Area band four years, and the All-Region Jazz band for two years. I am also a National AP Scholar. Other than the Tier One Scholarship, I was awarded the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Scholarship, the Houston Endowment Scholarship, the Baytown Kiwanis Scholarship, the HL-SAMP scholarship, the Honors College Great Conversation Scholarship, and the Goose Creek Memorial Band Scholarship.

Awards and Honors

I have been placed on the Dean’s List for the Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 semesters as well as the Honors College Dean’s List for the Fall 2012 semester.

Study Abroad

In the summer of 2013, I travelled to the United Kingdom and Ireland with the Honors College. We travelled to many cities including London and Bath in England, Bangor in Wales, and Dublin and Galway in Ireland. The entire trip was a very enriching experience as we did not only get to sightsee but also learn about different native authors such as James Joyce and W.B. Yeats and their journeys as depicted through many of their texts.

Research

I am very interested in performing research with professors throughout the Bauer College of Business on a large range of topics.

Future Endeavors

I hope to secure a job after my graduation from the University of Houston and eventually return to complete a graduate degree.
