Erin Michelle Lott
Being in Theatre in high school has taught me the value of perseverance, leadership, education, effective communication, and team work. I enjoy reading, singing, dancing, video games, and being creative in general. Pandas are my favorite animal and I LOVE popcorn. When I get bored, I like to bake any and everything. My family is my main motivation and I hope to make them proud in everything that I do.
Campus and Community Involvement
In High School, I was the Vice President of the Drama Club and participated in many plays as both an actor and technician. Choir, Girl Scouts, and multiple Honor Societies were also other organizations I was a part of, and I hope that at UH I will find just as many opportunities to jump into organizations and events to help the community.
Awards and Honors
I was Valedictorian of my high school class and was a member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, and the French Honor Society. In addition to the Tier One Scholarship, I also received the Jones Scholarship (Houston Endowment). Theatre was also a big part of my high school career and I received an Honorable Mention in my sophomore year and an All Star Cast medal both my junior and senior years at the UIL One Act Play competition.
As of now, I’m open to any opportunities when it comes to studying abroad, but I would like to study somewhere in Europe. The history and culture of that region are really interesting to me, and I would love to experience it. I have studied French in high school and took a trip there this past summer. I would love to visit there again!
I’m open to any opportunities presented to me.
My future plans are to get a career in marketing and advertising.
