I am a very… peculiar person, to say the least. I like to keep an open-mind about people and beliefs and am very accepting of things people may not be as tolerant of. It’s hard to find me in a mindset where I’m not upbeat; however I still like to maintain a realistic approach to situations. I am deeply interested in the medical field and having the opportunity to make a lasting impact on a person’s life is a huge motivation for me.
Campus and Community Involvement
All throughout high school I was an avid volunteer. I participated in a variety of events— from blood drives to planting trees. At the moment, I’m trying to settle in before actively volunteering again, however I plan to take part in events very soon. I was a Track & Field athlete in high school as well and am currently interested in various intramural sports. I am currently interested in becoming a part of FSA (Filipino Students Association) on campus as well as HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America).
Awards and Honors
I consistently received Academic Excellence throughout high school as well as other awards related to academics. I was one of the captains of my high school track team my senior year. I have not received scholarships other than the Tier One Scholarship.
I am not currently enrolled in any foreign languages. I would like to study abroad in Europe, most notably Italy. Being able to experience an entirely different culture than my own is very exciting.
I plan to research areas within the healthcare industry.
For the time being I am pursuing a career in Physical Therapy with a doctorate.
