Growing up in the Dallas Fort Worth area, I had no choice but to become a Dallas Cowboys enthusiast; I have bled blue and silver since the first time I watched a Cowboys game. I am a huge fan of alternative music and classic muscle cars, from Chevelle to Chevelles. It's important to me that my life hold meaning and to me, the most direct way to leave my mark on the world is to be of service to others.
Campus and Community Involvement
During my high school career, I volunteered at Baylor Grapevine hospital all four years. I co-founded the Colleyville Heritage Medical Club, as well as Tutoring to the Top, an organization in which members tutored peers. In my down time, I enjoy playing football and basketball with friends. I look forward to pursuing similar community involvement at the University of Houston.
Awards and Honors
I was pumped to graduate 12th in my class of over 550 students and to receive a Top Ten Percent scholarship.
I am interested in traveling to either a European country or an Asian country, as this would be an exciting opportunity to take in brand new cultures.
I am interested in research within the field of biology. Also, I take a special interest in the area of visual health.
After finishing my studies at the University of Houston, I plan on continuing to medical school and completing an MD. Ultimately, I aspire to become a successful physician. Whose House?!? :)
