About Me

Integrity and knowledge are my two top values that define me.

When I play board games, I refuse to cheat because others are cheating. When I take exams, I take off my glasses so my eyes will not see what they are not supposed to even if they wander.

When people ask me how I spend my free time, I tell them I read lots and lots of articles on: business, technology, science, how-to, psychology, etc. It sounds boring, but it can be fun. Trust me!

I am always curious about the world. I am especially interested in the concept of self-actualization. My goal in life is to be happy and I believe continually bettering myself, as a person is how I can find true happiness. It may sound cheesy, but I cannot imagine living knowing I will never be happy.

To work towards my lifelong goal, my short-term goals this semester are to become more confident of my judgment and to enjoy being busy and enjoy being free equally.

Campus and Community Involvement

Currently, I am actively involved in Beta Alpha Psi and Management Information Systems Student Organization.

In the past, I have been involved with the FOTOS-sponsored Research Cafés, Zero Interest Microfinance at Bauer (Administrator) and the Quad Hall Council (President).

I have volunteered on campus at events such as the Mars Rover Celebration and middle school visits. I also volunteer with the organizations I am in.

Awards and Honors

I have been on the Dean’s List for the Honors College and the C.T. Bauer College of Business all semesters that I have attended UH.

Some of the awards/honors I received from high school are National Merit Commended Scholar, National AP Scholar, AP Scholar with Distinction, Magnificent Mustang, a 4 at VASE, and becoming valedictorian.

I have received the Star of Excellence scholarship from Park Place Motorcars.

Study Abroad

In Summer 2013, I participated in the Bauer College’s Southeast Asia Study Abroad. In China and Vietnam we visited local businesses, startups, and international corporations such as Microsoft. We also attended lectures at some of the top local universities to better understand the leadership and workforce in Southeast Asia. As we traveled through the different cities, we also worked on our own social business.

Stay tuned for updates.

Future Endeavors

After receiving my BBA in Accounting and Management Information Systems, I will complete the Professional Program of Accountancy at UH.
