About Me

I am a person of diverse interests and accomplishments. I am driven by my own will to succeed and desire to be a better person for the people I care about. I am motivated by “healthy” competition with close friends.

Campus and Community Involvement

I want to become fluent in Spanish and Japanese, learn how to play guitar, piano, and better singing, as well as play a variety of sports and I am an Eagle Scout (Troop 773). I used to volunteer during high school as the historian for our chapter of Best Buddies. Currently at UH I am a part of Anime no Kai (Anime Club) and am considering CougarCS if I can fit it into my schedule.

Awards and Honors

In high school I was a Duke TIP Scholar, an AP Scholar with Distinction, won four first place ribbons in TSJCL state Latin competition, participated in the regional men’s choir, and was on the Varsity football team which won district. In addition to the Tier One Scholarship, I received the Top Ten Percent Scholarship from UH.

Study Abroad

I am teaching myself Spanish and Japanese, and I took Latin for four years in high school. I am not currently enrolled in any formal classes for language learning. I would like to study abroad, most likely Japan.

I am interested in researching technology, music, psychology, and foreign languages, all of which will be useful in my career.

Future Endeavors

I want to become a video game designer after obtaining my degree. I am considering a masters degree in COSC but I may decide that a bachelors is sufficient for my purposes.
