About Me

I am a quiet, but friendly person who is very driven to succeed. I try to do my absolute best in everything that I pursue. In my free time I enjoy reading, music, spending time with my family and our many pets, and researching nutrition and fitness. My academic interests include business, technology, and mathematics.

I view college as an opportunity to expand my knowledge in as many different subjects that I can. I know that with this knowledge I will be able to make a positive contribution to society. What that will be, I am not yet sure, but knowing that what I learn now I can apply to some greater cause in the future is what motivates me to do well in academics and to expand my horizons when necessary.

Campus and Community Involvement

I am a member of the Honors College. As I recently switched majors, I am not currently involved in any student organizations, but I am looking forward to joining MISSO and the Bauer Women’s Society at the start of next semester.

Awards and Honors

I graduated distinguished and suma cum laude from Clear Creek High School. I was a two-time CCISD Superintendent’s Scholar, and also an AP Scholar. At the University of Houston I have made the Dean’s list for both the Honors College and College of Natural Science twice.

Study Abroad

I would love to be able to study international business anywhere in Europe, but especially in France, Italy, or Norway.

I find research pertaining to the economy very interesting. I would particularly like to conduct research about events that lead up to an economic depression. Not only is it a fascinating subject, but it is very important knowledge for the government to have when making future decisions that could impact our economic well-being.

Future Endeavors

After I graduate I hope to get a job in IT consulting. I may consider graduate school at a later date to help me achieve my long term goal of becoming a CTO.
