I am an engineer at heart. I have always had an extreme fascination with how things are put together and how they work. I am excited to finally realize my dream of becoming an engineer. My side interests include physics as well as playing golf.

Campus and Community Involvement

I am a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) as well as  a member of the University of Houston Honors College and Honors Engineering Program. I have volunteered several times at the Montgomery County Food Bank.

Awards and Honors

I was the recipient of the All Montgomery County Scholar-Athlete of the Year (2009-2010). In addition to the TierOne Scholarship, I have received the University of Houston Foundation Excellence Scholarship as well as University of Houston President Excellence Scholarship. I was a member of the District Champion Math and Science UIL teams for Magnolia High School.

    Study Abroad

I would like to study abroad in Geneva, Switzerland so that I could visit the Large Hadron Collider.

I am very interested in research involving nanotechnology and materials engineering.

    Future Endeavors

I am planning on pursuing a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and opening a defense contracting company with my brother Chris after obtaining my degree.
