About Me

I am a curious student who wants to take too many classes that fall outside of her major. If given the chance, I want to see the world and be introduced to as many different communities and cultures as possible.

Campus and Community Involvement

I volunteer at Ben Taub General Hospital; amidst the busy setting, I get the feeling that I can make the difference between a better or worse day.

Study Abroad

I’d love to see the world when the chance for that arises and perhaps even to perfect my Spanish and Chinese.

Research

I got a chance to work with Dr. Charles Layne from the Health and Human Performance Department on the topic of how vibrations affect the body’s proprioception. I learned how research is another way to approach medicine and health.

Future Endeavors

I wish to be a medical doctor, I want to learn all that is necessary to be able to help people through their health issues.
