Helpful Tips


Take a dance class at least once a week. This will improve your ability to learn routines quickly.
Free dance classes (hip hop, funk, salsa) are offered to UH students at the Campus Rec & Wellness Center. Click here for the class schedule.


Listen to different types of music and watch various dance music videos. Modify your dancing to the style of music. This will improve your ability to freestyle.


Eat healthy.


Get physically fit. 30-60min of cardio every day will increase your endurance and cardiovascular fitness.
