Sameer Kapileshwari is currently serving as Interim Executive Director of Facilities Management at the University of Houston. Sameer Kapileshwari has 20 years of public and private sectors experience in project management, strategic planning, capital and utility master planning, organizational management, engineering design, and energy-efficiency consulting. Sameer also serves on the Building Standards Commission for the City of Sugar Land Texas.
 
Sameer has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering. He is a licensed professional Engineer, LEED AP, and holds IFMA FMP and SFP certifications.

Avinash has delivered significant cost savings and triple bottom line benefits through Supply chain management and process improvement projects. Some of the projects were a) international supply chain assessment for Cummins b) value stream mapping for Otis c) implementing inventory management, d) developing planned maintenance and e) capital planning at University of Houston.

Michael Burriello, MBA, FMP

Michael Burriello is an Assistant Director of Central Plants and HVAC/BAS Systems, as well as the FM Sustainability Team Leader at the University of Houston. He has more than 30 years of Facilities Management experience in both private and public organizations, and has a Masters' Degree in Management from Memphis State University, a Bachelors' Degree in Industrial Engineering from Lafayette College and is an IFMA Certified Facility Management Professional.
Michael's expertise lies in Benchmarking, Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) and Opportunity Creation for Sustainable efforts.

Joe Morris FMP SFP

Assistant Director, Facilities Management

Biography

Joe Morris is an Assistant Director at the University of Houston and has over 40 years' experience in Facilities Maintenance mostly in the private sector. He has a B.A. in education and an MBA with focus on Hospitality Management. Joe has a Master Electrical license and HVAC license from the State of Texas as well as holding IFMA Facility Management Professional and Sustainability Facilities Professional certifications.

Joe's experiences include having taught HVAC in a community college for 7 years, managed the maintenance program for over 100 hotels, owned his own construction company and, in addition to his work at U of H, is currently an instructor and proctor for the EPA 608 certification.

Joe has a passion for teaching and the use of current technology to streamline production and performance in the workplace.
