President & Managing Director
Mr. Waller is President & Managing Director of The Proceanic Group of Companies, overseeing Group Technical and Commercial Operations for the Houston and Singapore Corporate Offices, as well as International Operations in Asia, Africa, Middle East and the Americas.
Mr. Waller holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, a UK Class I Certificate of Competency (Sea-going Chief Engineers Certificate), a Higher National Diploma in Marine Engineering and he is a registered Chartered Engineer and Chartered Marine Engineer with the UK Engineering Council. He is also a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10KSB Program for Business Owners.
Mr. Waller is also an Honorary Fellow with the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMAREST) and has served as Secretary and Chairman of the US Gulf Coast Branch of IMAREST over a 9 year period as well as serving as the Divisional Secretary for IMAREST Americas for a 3 year period, and on the London IMAREST Council for a period of two years.
His career includes positions as a Senior Seagoing Engineering Officer aboard Cruise Liners, a Classification Society Surveyor, Technical/Operations Manager of Floating Production Vessels (FPSO’s), and an Engineering/Consulting and Business Owner/Manager.
As President and Managing Director of Proceanic, Ltd. (USA) and Director of Proceanic Engineering Services, PTE, Ltd. (Singapore), Mr. Waller's primary responsibility is the Executive, Commercial and Operational Management of the Proceanic group of Companies. Mr. Waller is also responsible for managing and/or providing Proceanic's Technical Support Services to marine and offshore operators internationally.
Originally hailing from the North East of England, Mr. Waller moved to Texas in 1992. Houston is now home for his family, with both his boys being native born Texans.
His hobbies include travel, golf, reading, painting, fishing and listening to music.
